iIDEAL NGO, in collaboration with Pelion Homes, organised a very special day retreat and fun nature experience for children from Portaria School in Pelion. This engaging and educational event aimed to provide children with a holistic day of activities focused on wellness, creativity, and nature appreciation.

The day began with a guided Yoga and meditation session, led by an experienced teacher, allowing the children to connect with their inner selves and the lush natural surroundings. Following the calming session, the children participated in a hands-on activity by planting flowers and herbs in the retreat centre’s garden, learning about sustainability and the importance of green spaces.

One of the highlights of the day was a pizza-making session, where the children learned how to prepare their own pizzas under the guidance of a professional chef. This interactive cooking experience allowed them to appreciate the process of making food from scratch and enjoy the delicious results of their combined efforts.

The event concluded with smiles and laughter as the children enjoyed their freshly made pizzas together, surrounded by the idyllic natural environment of Pelion Mountain. A truly memorable day with deep and meaningful purpose for all involved.
